Field Descriptions

Total Trucks In Fleet
The total number of trucks owned and/or leased.

Monthly PrePass Service Fee (Per Truck)
The monthly PrePass flat rate per truck for unlimited bypassing.

Average Monthly Bypasses (For All Trucks)
Trucks enrolled in PrePass average 12 successful weigh station bypasses per month as of November, 2007.

Average Fully Allocated Operating Cost (Per Hour)
Based on a survey of PrePass customers, it was determined that the average fully allocated operating cost for a truck is $58.00 an hour. "Fully Allocated Operating Costs" are all costs required to operate a truck for an hour. This includes but is not limited to: fuel, vehicle maintenance, insurance, driver's wages, administrative costs etc. In this analysis, fuel savings are broken out separately and are not part of the "Other Fully Allocated Operating Costs Savings."
